This whole them and us, power against impotencies, no more about reform for many, but just the few, and those that can not see this are easily led by the few, they build their case not on us having more but less. Wake up sheeples before it's too late to change for the many.
Then there is always history and how history and the public then looks at all what happened. I just read how people in Germany can uncover family connections with the Nazis, while the AfD fights to acknowledge the history of the country last century (https://edition.cnn.com/2026/06/28/europe/germans-nazi-past-far-right-intl ). If a country started 2 world wars and committed the biggest genocide in human history, it won't go away. And eventually history will catch up on the many wrongs of the current US administration and its party to move happily along with it. Hungary is catching up why it became the poorest EU country under Orban. But preventing accountability from happening can be tremendously successful, just look at the US and its history with slavery. With all the current backlash against American history, minorities will be less represented in the next US congress. Societies need to make sure if they want solutions to current problems or pretend nothing what happened did happen so that the rulers won't be held accountable.
Just read Phil Tinline’s book ‘Ghosts of Iron Mountain, the hoax that duped America and it’s sinister legacy’, to see where the true roots of the present day rich blokjes ruling rabiate right are (McCarthy; John Birch Society, anyone?), and how that never went away. Just to raise it’s ugly head again in our days; you ain’t seen nothing yet!
It always depends how willing societies are to elect/promote corrupt politicians, 27 yrs ago a US cab driver told me that the US is much of the time not willing to elect intellectual presidents (with some exceptions). And certainly for our current climate & ecological crises where would we be had there not been a Rupert Murdoch and the GOP (and many other cronies) to promote the fossil fuel industries? I hear you loud and clear, which is I have been an activist for >45 yrs.
