Farage and Lowe lack experience of the real world - if they were to talk to me, an ex-Metropolitan Police officer who worked in Stoke Newington with its black and Jewish populations or provided personal security for leading politicians, like Mrs Thatcher, they would know that every life matters.

That's why I chose to work with homeless people, the disabled, the mentally ill and other needy groups.

Farage and his like could then learn that action speaks louder than words, couldn't they?

Thatcher had no idea that every life mattered; her obsession with neoliberalism (which has been proven to be a failure) clouded her every thought. What a stupid woman...

They hve ears to the ground and listen to people on the streets more than Statmer etc ..

That's not how one spells 'gutter'! LOL

I have no time for Starmer for he has tried to court 'right wing' voters and jettisoned labour values, once he felt secure as leader. That is why I did not vote at the last election.

I may be paranoid, but it seems to me Lowe's entire purpose (why he's being funded) is to be to the right of Farage and by extension make Farage look more reasonable. It's a well-funded operation that's achieving exactly what the Corbynistas tried and failed to do - move the Overton window.

It's the modern equivalent of the “stab in the back” narrative advanced by Hitler to explain why Germany lost the First World War. They actually lost it because their people were starving and rebelled. But the far right doesn't care about truth.

REFORMGaslighting

the conditions for truth to matter are being eroded. If you can’t trust your own perception, you can’t resist.

It mirrors what happens in families under coercive control

So, when this occurred —-

The father of a Saudi Arabian student murdered while studying English in Cambridge has told a judge that his pain is "beyond" words.

Mohammed Algasim, 20, was stabbed in the neck outside student accommodation by 22-year-old construction worker Chas Corrigan, of Holbrook Road, Cambridge, in August 2025.

———-this lot don’t seem to have been at all bothered, as it was someone white killing a Saudi student. If it had been the other way around would the racists have been rioting?

OK, the Police in this case seem to have been exemplary but the rioters seem to have been mostly rioting about someone white being murdered by someone not white. Hence the claim white lives are in danger.

Everyone is bothered about anyone being murdered. But generally ..its foreign born who cause most of the stabbings etc .. we hve our own criminals.. we don't need to import thousands more. Control our borders. Now .

Another thought out and well written piece Matt.

That's a good piece .. well written ..

But some garbage about Farage .

Lowe is IMHO only out to trash Farage at every corner he can . It's personal. He only cares about stopping Farage getting into No 10. Hence he'll just split the vote, split the country etc .. hence he doesn't care like he says he does.

Far right do care ... thats why they do what they do.. and they are not far right ..just right . Get yr rights right .

DeeDee you're an eejit.

Research has demonstrated that both extremes are untruthful to some degree, but the right is more inclined to outright invent stories. And I think you didn't mean that I should get my rights right.
